For this week’s #NeighborhoodSpotlight, join us as we meet with Marivel Gomez and Sharon Haynes, the chef and partner and the founder respectively of Tacos a Go Go. The first location opened back in 2006 as a way to fill the need for a tex-mex restaurant but with a taco spin.

A specialty dish that is recommended by the chef is the breakfast taco with the guisada. They also offer a wide variety of other dishes such as quesadillas, tamales, and nachos. On top of that, they also have a range of specialty drinks that they offer.

They are a Houston local brand and they are constantly looking to expand and open now locations throughout the city.
