For this week’s #NeighborhoodSpotlight​, join us as we talk to Marcus Lovely, one half of the Lovely couple who had previously owned Restored Motion Pilates & Yoga but eventually outgrew the space. They opened up their doors at their new spot, Duo Houston, January 1st of 2021.

Duo Houston is truly unique because not only is it a coffee shop serving up delicious espresso drinks and drip coffees, it is also a Yoga and Pilates studio. They offer a variety of classes from beginner Pilates and beginner Yoga to Power Reformer Pilates and Yin Yoga. The way that the owners view it as is that most people think about coffee or tea and exercise everyday so why not have a place where you can get both of them in one location. It really rounds out your experience because you can have a nice workout session and then finish it off with one of their fantastic locally sourced coffees.
